And God Created Woman (1956 Film)
''And God Created Woman'' (french: Et Dieu... créa la femme) is a 1956 French romantic drama film directed by Roger Vadim in his directorial debut and starring Brigitte Bardot. Though not her first film, it is widely recognized as the vehicle that launched Bardot into the public spotlight and immediately created her "sex kitten" persona, making her an overnight sensation. When the film was released in the United States by Kingsley-International Pictures in 1957, it pushed the boundaries of the representation of sexuality in American cinema, and most available prints of the film were heavily edited to conform with the Hays Code censorial standards. An English-language remake also titled '' And God Created Woman'' was directed by Vadim and released in 1988. Plot The action is set in St Tropez. Juliette is an 18-year-old orphan in Saint-Tropez, France, with a high level of sexual energy. She makes no effort to restrain her natural sensuality – lying nude in her yard, habitu ...

And God Created Woman (Father Ted)
"And God Created Woman" is the 5th episode of the Channel 4 sitcom ''Father Ted''. It is named after the 1956 film '' And God Created Woman''. Synopsis Father Ted meets novelist Polly Clarke at a booksigning for her latest novel, ''Bejewelled with Kisses'', and they discuss their reading interests; Polly discloses that she envies Ted the peace of mind and serenity that his life as a priest brings. Ted rebuffs this, in a jovial manner, saying that he would actually like a bit of excitement. As he gets in the lift afterwards, Ted realises that Polly misheard his name and addressed the book to "Ted Curley" (not Crilly); Polly then steps into the elevator and greets him as "Father Curley". There is an awkward silence between them as the lift goes up, with the only ice-breaker "Good luck with the book again" as they walk off in separate directions. Their cars, however, are parked next to each other and, in a traffic jam, Polly's car pulls up alongside Ted's. Ted pleads with the traffic ...

Love Symbol Album
''Love Symbol'' is the fourteenth studio album by American recording artist Prince, and the second of two that featured his backing band the New Power Generation. It was released on October 13, 1992, by Paisley Park Records and Warner Bros. Records. It was originally conceived as a "fantasy rock soap opera" with various spoken segues throughout (with its storyline becoming the basis for Prince's direct-to-video film '' 3 Chains o' Gold''), and contains elements of R&B, funk, pop, rock, and soul. The official title of the album is an unpronounceable symbol depicted on its cover art, which Prince copyrighted under the title "Love Symbol #2", and adopted as his stage name from 1993 to 2000 to protest his treatment by Warner Bros. Records (which had refused to steadily release his back catalog of unreleased music, and trademarked his given name for promotional purposes). The release has been referred to under titles such as ''Love Symbol'', ''Symbol Album'', or ''Symbol''. Its fi ...
